Created in 1997, in relation with the success of the World Sacred Music Festival, the International Music Academy of Fes proposes to the students an exceptional surrounding to improve their instrumental and vocal technique and interpretation with the most famous Masters in Barocco and traditionnal music.
This year the Great Master Jordi SAVALL will teach and conduct the Academy.
It also brings an opening onto other methods of transmitting music, a meeting place between Western and Eastern musics.
The teachers and students concerts are the privileged moments of this encounter. They take place in the historical and prestigious Batha Museum.
The Masterclass will be given in the palaces of the Medina of Fes, contributing the discovery of this unique city classified past of the planetary heritage by UNESCO.
